Microwave and oven cookable bag sales increase

The recent focus on food safety inspired the launch of Synpac’s new film development S1105 for a microwave and oven cookable bag, and since the launch we are pleased to report that sales have increased tenfold.

The microwavable and ovenable bag ensures that all of the natural flavours and vital minerals and nutrients of meat, fish, poultry and vegetables are retained in the bag during the cook-in bag process. The cookable bag can easily be taken straight from the fridge or freezer to the oven or microwave, and is suitable for temperatures up to 220°C.

These flexible and versatile cookable bags offer a further level of protection to processors, retailers and consumers to reduce exposure to bacterium.
